A Purple Pirate Ship of Clowns, Sailing the Silly Sea

A Purple Pirate Ship of Clowns, Sailing the Silly Sea

September 29, 2021

What ho, ye swarthy pantomimes!
What ho, yon bozo mates!
What ho, youse silly devils,
That spin them jolly plates!

The ocean is a grande old lake
The swellest swell of swells!
Now don't be steppin' on no rake,
A dead man tells no tales!

Our hidden treasure is no joke
We've buried it apace.
And if you try to steal that loot,
A cream pie to your face!

For we're the grease-paint buccaneers
Who'll never walk the planks.
We sail upon this salty drink,
And play our groggy pranks.

Our circus is this wretched ship,
The big-top of the drowned.
So raise your glass and part your lips,
Hoist them pants, and shake them hips!
Then sing each verse to great renown,
And drink good cheer to them that clowned!
